South Texas Talking Sprouts is committed to providing exceptional, individualized services to meet the needs of each child and family. Payment is due at the time of service. Currently, we accept the following payment methods and insurance:
BCBS TX:
Blue Advantage HMO, Blue Essentials HMO, Blue High Performance Network, Blue Premier, Blue Choice PPO, Health Select, Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan, My Blue Health, Well Central HMO
Cash Pay
Check or Credit Card
Health Savings Account (HSA)
Flexible Savings Account (FSA)
We gladly accept payments through HSA and FSA accounts and can provide the necessary documentation required for coverage.
At this time, South Texas Talking Sprouts is out-of-network with all insurance companies. If you plan to use a SuperBill for reimbursement, we recommend verifying your speech-language therapy coverage with your insurance company before your evaluation.
Good Faith Estimate
Effective January 1, 2022, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” detailing the expected cost of your medical care. This estimate is provided to patients who do not have insurance or are not using insurance, based on the care reasonably anticipated at the time the estimate is issued. If there are significant changes to the plan of care, a new estimate may be issued. (This applies to individuals paying privately, those unable to use their insurance benefits or those who are uninsured. It does not apply to patients using their insurance benefits.)
Referrals
To begin speech therapy services with South Texas Talking Sprouts, a referral from your child’s primary care doctor is needed. This referral helps us coordinate with your child’s medical team and ensures we’re addressing any specific concerns. Once we receive the referral, we’ll contact you to schedule an evaluation and start building a customized therapy plan.
